ARGUS Assist is a conversational, AI-powered experience within ARGUS Intelligence Platform, built for commercial real estate.
Most AI tools are probabilistic, which means the same prompt could return a different answer on a different day - ARGUS Assist is deterministic. This means that the AI interface accepts natural language and surfaces information, but all valuations, cashflows, sensitivities, and model outputs are generated by the ARGUS calculation engine. The AI is the interface layer, not the calculation layer, making the answers repeatable, traceable, and auditable. If you ask a question with the same assumptions two days in a row, you will get the same answer both times.

ARGUS Assist is designed primarily for valuation and acquisition analysts, brokers, and asset managers who spend significant time gathering data, researching assumptions, preparing models, and validating outputs. It is intended to reduce manual work and help teams move faster while maintaining professional oversight.

ARGUS Assist can help users look up DCF models for properties that have a model on ARGUS Intelligence, support assumption changes and re-runs, generate valuation outputs, and answer questions about the outputs. If a user is contracted for Benchmark Manager, ARGUS Assist can provide benchmark comparisons.

A user provides a property address, the agent identifies the property, surfaces model detail and specific variables that users have identified as impactful to valuations. The user can then ask questions about the underlying model, request assumption changes, and review updated results through conversation with the agent.

If provisioned for Benchmark Manager, the user can also compare the output against Altus' benchmark product.

The target is to surface model data in under 40 seconds. Actual timing may vary depending on the workflow and the data available for the asset.

ARGUS Assist combines a large language model for conversational interaction with your organization’s AE DCF models. It leverages model data, user-provided inputs, and other information available within ARGUS Intelligence Platform to help users analyze assets, test scenarios, and understand valuation results through natural language. Client proprietary data is not used to train ARGUS Assist.
