Being a super high rise building, unique challenges had to be considered in the design and cos t planning stages. These included significant window loading issues affecting façade design, unusual wind loadings, intermittent plant and servicing requirements to ensure appropriate electrical, hydraulic and fire systems, roof top recreation an d pool design, high speed lifts, space inefficiency caused by vertical transport requirements, and construction cost risk due to a long construction period.
