The Curtin Connect project was undertaken to refurbish Buildings 101 and 102 and to relocate the Co-Op Bookshop from B200 to B103 with the purpose of creating a new central student hub.

The new facility comprises of a large space to greet the visitors, a number of break-out pods for private meetings, a restricted staff office and various spaces designed to enable students to catch up with peers and staff in a stimulating environment.

To ensure that the client’s needs were met, in particular being able to make use of the Curtin Connect building by June 2017, Altus Group worked with the builder and project management team to create a flexible schedule which allowed for the works to be completed whilst meeting the client’s program. Additional works were also successfully delivered by July 2017.
