Trey Beazley has been named President, Tax US, and will drive the continued growth of Altus Group as the premier state and local tax advisory firm in the US. Trey joined Altus Group in 2013 through the acquisition of his company, Complex Property Advisors Corporation (CPAC).
Corinne Krikstan is now Executive Vice President of Operations, Tax US, in a newly created position designed to support the operational requirements as the US Tax division continues to grow organically and through acquisition. Corinne has 22 years of experience, formerly working at SC&H State & Local Tax (SC&H) which was acquired by Altus Group in 2014.
Expanding his responsibilities, Mark Bedford has been promoted to Executive Vice President and will now oversee all the specialized teams of Healthcare, Appraisal, and Hospitality, as well as the Southlake, Texas and Tennessee offices. Mark joined Altus Group in 2013 with the acquisition of CPAC of which he was a co-founder.
Promoted to Vice President, Patrick Broome will now lead the Personal Property Tax practice. With more than 20 years’ experience, Pat has been instrumental in expanding the Personal Property Tax practice and establishing Altus Group as an innovative property tax and valuation advisor to the Retail industry.
Mike Fritz moves into a new role as Vice President overseeing the property tax offices on the East Coast, Chicago, and Richardson, Texas. In the three years since Mike’s firm, ATATAX, was acquired by Altus Group, Mike has been integral in gaining market share to be the third largest property tax practice in Dallas County.
Further strengthening our expertise and geographic reach, two Directors have been hired in property tax.
Larry Backus, CMI, joins the Richardson, Texas office with over 30 years of industry experience. Larry is regarded as an astute mentor and coach to junior consultants. Having spent considerable time in both the public and private sector, he is highly respected by taxing authorities and his peers. While Larry has experience on all property types throughout the country, his primary focus initially at Altus Group will be multi-family properties in Texas.
Andrea McKinnon, JD, joins as a Director in our new Memphis office. Andrea has practiced exclusively in property tax law representing taxpayers challenging their assessments on multifamily, commercial, industrial, and healthcare real and personal property, primarily in the Southeast. She has a unique combination of education and experience that provides her with an excellent foundation for evaluating and anticipating clients’ property tax needs. Before joining Altus Group, she worked as a property tax attorney in Memphis.
Finally, Ross Litkenhous, formerly a Vice President in our Property Tax division, has now assumed the role of Global Head of Business Development for Altus Group’s Expert Services business. He will focus on leading sales efforts for our Global Cost, Valuation, and Advisory divisions, as well as for North American Tax. His team will continue to build on the strategy of integrating products and offerings from across the company that deliver integrated solutions, and enhanced value to clients. Each of these initiatives will leverage Altus Group’s unique position in the market as a leading provider of technology-enabled services with best-in-class expertise, data and software solutions.
